This policy explains how Bad Luck Lawrence ("we", "us") handles information on badlucklawrence.com and in the internal publishing tool we use to upload our own videos to YouTube, TikTok and Instagram (the "Publisher").
1. Who this applies to
The website is a public information page about our animated comedy series. The Publisher is an internal tool used only by the Bad Luck Lawrence team to publish content to accounts we own. It is not offered to the public.
2. Information we collect
- Website visitors: we do not use accounts, forms, advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
- Email: if you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
- Publisher: when we connect our own YouTube, TikTok or Instagram accounts, the platforms issue access tokens that let the Publisher upload videos and set captions on those accounts. We store these tokens securely and use them only for that purpose.
3. How we use information
We use information only to operate the website, answer messages, and publish our own videos. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for marketing.
4. Platform data
Data obtained through the YouTube API Services, TikTok APIs and Meta Platform APIs is used solely to publish and manage content on our own accounts, in line with each platform's terms. Our use of YouTube data is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke the Publisher's access at any time from the security settings of the respective platform account.
5. Retention and deletion
Access tokens are kept only while a connection is active and are deleted when the connection is removed. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation. To request deletion of any information we hold about you, email [email protected].
6. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version.
